Being Bindy

Q. Describe one of the charactors from your book. What do they look like? What was your charactors purpose in the book?

The charactor that I have chosen to write about is Bindy she is the main charactor in the book. Bindy has green eyes, long brown hair and she usually wears it up because she doesn’t like the way it blows in her face. Her best friend is Janey and they have been best friends since they were born, they did everything together fro hanging out at school to doing chores at home! But so far in the book Janey has become friends with Hannah and Bindy doesn’t like it because Janey is spending more time with Hannah then her. Janey and Hannah organised to go to the movies and invited her. They got ready at Janey’s and Hannah and Janey picked out clothes for Bindy to wear. Bindy wore a black top that looked like a tiny bit of material and a skirt that was 30cm long that was like a belt and every outfit needs shoes Hannah gave her some stilletos and Bindy could hardly mowalk in them!! Bindy, Hannah and Janey took a cab to the mall and when they were inside Bindy was constantly trying to pull her belt like skirt down, Thats all I’ve read so far but I’ll keep you updated about Bindy Hannah and Janey! xoxo

POLITICS

Today we learnt about politics and at the star of the lesson I didn’t know what it was. We started off saying all the things that Politics were involed with like Policy, Police, Politicions, they all start with the prefix ’Poli’. We moved on to explain the levels of Government, Fedral, State and Local. I learnt that there were more parties then Labor and Liberal, like Green, Democratics, National and Family First. There are also alot of other indepentent arties that arn’t as popular or as well know.

Yr 7 english

Last year for year 7 english my teacher was Miss Pryor and we were her first year 7 class and she was a really good teacher. My favourite project that I did was the Jurasic park film study as one of the follow up activitys we produced Jurasic Park 4!! Its a really good movie but I wasn’t there for the filming of it because I was sick I watched the end product and I really enjoyed it. Another thing we did that was new to not only us but the whole school it was the laptop program and we were the first year to test it out! On the laptops we had Digital portfolios led by us. (Student Led Conferences). Student Led Conferences are the same as parent-teacher conference but the students lead them and they are on a projector screen and you talk tyour parents through what you have done throughtout the semester I really enjoyed decorating them and I’m looking forward to continuing with the laptops this year. lots of luv me xox

Greeks Vs the Trojans

I found myself sitting in silence surrounded by fello warriors all huddled together inside the Trojan horse that we had spent days making. We were all waiting, waiting for the walls of Troy to open. CREEEEEK. The massive gates of Troy opened. As we started to move in throught the gates there was a complete silence of disbelief. All of a sudden there was a voice “We have done it! I can’t believe we have actually defeated the Greeks!” There was a huge ROAR as the atmosphere was growing, it was all going according to plan just as Odysseus had said it has actually worked!. The night was only getting started so i thought I my as well try and get some rest. Well that didn’t quite work it was extreemly loud and it was nearly impossible to sleep also because we were inside the wooden horsethe sound echoed, the sound of the Trojans singing in victory and the laughter that filled the air, for afterten years they thought the battle was over, but little did they realise that we were about to attack! Eventually the laughter and the singing died down and the stillness of the night took over. I peered out through the hole to check if the coast was clear. Amazingly everyone had dropped to sleep somewhere on the ground…………the coast was clear. I crept silently tot he back of the horse and signaling for everyone to follow. We made it to the gates once again there was a loud CREEEEK but luckily all the Trojans were drunk or in a very, very deep sleep to notice anything. Now to prepare for victory!! To end this once and for all. ATTACK!!! The battle was so easy because the Trojans were completly defenceless. We had done it! We had defeated the Trojans and it was just like Odysseus had said!!

My fav food…………WATERMELONS!?!?

Mum and I were having a girls day out shopping but we ended up going to the fruit shop because we had got ‘low’ on our supplys and of cause it had to be on the day with just me and mum and fruit was more important well thats what mum thought………. Anyway we went into the fruit shop and we slowly filled up the trolley we came to the watermelons…………. I love watermelons it is the best food in the world apart from lollypops of cause lol. I couldn’t believe it the had a sample piece that you could taste as a grabbed the pink watery piece of watermelon it was cool in my hands and I put it to my mouth I could hear the crunch and as I swallowed it I felt the coolness of the fruit sliding down my throat it was delicious!! I wanted another piece but mum pulled me back and said ’save some for other people’………What a way to end a shopping trip it, sitting outside in the hot sun eating my favourite FRUIT in the world watermelon all to my self!!

Today I am writing about lollies. My mum and dad say that you can only have a few lollies now and then because she is the one paying for the dentist bill or something like that!! But I dont eat that many and I like lollies and especially LOLLYPOPS as you can probably tell by my site……… I just want to no wether everyone else likes lollies and im not the only one please leave a comment and have your say!!!

Heros Nomad

At school we are reading this book called Heros Nomad. This book is very gory and I don’t really like gory books but it isn’t that bad. So far we are up to chapter 4. The book is about a guy named Damon Shore and Damon and his family had just moved into the city. Damon and his little sister Emma have to start at new school. Emma is still in primary school. But Damon is in Highschool he is enjoying it. The most weirdest thing in the story is Damon has strange dreams that he is in a battle field and he is trying to save his home country. Thats all so far.
